At the start of this year I had all but given up on music. After my band split up I thought, there’s no way anyone wants to hear a sad guy in his thirties start a solo project. Right? 9 months later - you all continue to prove me wrong every day. I’m watching my Spotify stream count creep up to 150,000. Still processing that y’all were signing my words back to me, 1200 miles away in cities I was unfamiliar with. Get You The Moon felt like a love letter to all of you while recording, and even more so now that I’m seeing the content you’ve been making with it. Whether you know it or not, y’all saved me in a big way, and I am so appreciative of each one of you. I am beyond grateful for every day I’m able to wake up and share my music with you.
